THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MACHINES, ENERGY AND DIGITIZATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT – IMEDS2025
IMEDS2025 – The International Conference on Machines, Energy and Digitization for Sustainable Development will be held in the Vinh Long City of Vinh Long province, Vietnam on Septemper 19-20, 2025. The event is hosted by the Vietnam Association for Science Editing (VASE) in collaboration with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE). Researchers, policy makers, industry, practitioners and students from all countries are welcome.
The conference aims to exchange information, share activity results, and explore important and modern areas of science and technology, including Mechanical Engineering, Dynamics, Mechanics, Materials Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence and their wide-ranging applications in industry and management, all geared towards sustainable development. Additionally, the conference provides an opportunity for domestic scientists to interact, exchange ideas, and collaborate with reputable international scientists working in the aforementioned fields.
VASE has been the organizer of the successful biannual MMMS conference series since 2018. Each conference has hosted around 500 participants from 10 countries, resulting in more than 200 publications in Scopus-indexed proceedings.

VLUTE hosts IMEDS2025 in Vinh Long to celebrate its 65th anniversary. This event also highlights the importance of scientific research, development, and the institution’s contributions to education in the region, as well as its connections to the international scientific community.
CONFERENCE AIMS
The International Conference on Machines, Energy and Digitization for Sustainable Development (IMEDS2025) will provide an excellent international forum for sharing knowledge and results in theory, methodology, and applications, impacts, and challenges of Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering as well as Education Technology in contributing to sustainable development, especially in materials, machines, and methods. The conference documents practical and theoretical results that make a fundamental contribution to the development of sustainable development. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from academia as well as industry to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field.
Researchers, policymakers, industry professionals, practitioners, and students from all countries are welcome to participate and submit articles illustrating research results, projects, survey works, and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the areas listed in the topics and scope.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts, with a maximum of 400 words, should be submitted to the conference page and must indicate the topic as well as specify whether they pertain to a poster or a paper.
PUBLICATION POLICY
Participants can choose to present their work as either a full paper or a poster.
All submitted work will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN.
Papers presented at IMEDS2025 will be published after peer review in a selected journal series by Springer Proceedings, indexed by Scopus (Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering – LNME). Authors are strongly encouraged to adhere strictly to publication ethics for scientific publishing.
CONFERENCE FEES
- Normal registration until 01/08/2025: 150 USD
- Normal registration after 01/08/2025: 200 USD
- Student registration: 70 USD (certificate proof required)
- Domestic registration: 2.000.000 VND
The fees include admission to all scientific sessions, the publication of one paper in the conference proceedings, conference materials, coffee breaks, and lunches. The registration fee is calculated per person per paper. For papers with multiple authors, all participants must pay the registration fee. Additionally, delegates registering as a group of three or more are eligible for a 10% discount on the group registration fee.
In cases where papers are accepted by two reviewers, they will be published in the Springer Proceedings (indexed in Scopus and SCImago) with an additional publication fee of $200 per paper.
Social events of the conference: Delegates registering for a two-day, one-night sightseeing tour at Cape Ca Mau will pay an additional fee of 2.000.000 VND per delegate.
